Held up by a hold-up!

I was slightly late in for work this morning. But I had a good excuse... at least I think being diverted due to a stand-off between robbers and an armed police response unit is a good excuse!

I didn't see much; there was a patrol car and an officer in a high-visibility jacket standing squarely in the middle of the road very clearly saying - "Don't even think about coming this way."

Was weird to be hearing the news unfold on the radio while I was so close though.
